Before You Write In
A lot of questions we get are already answered here.
Will you check a SIM owner's details for me?
No — and no legitimate site can. Sim Owner Detail only explains how to use PTA's own free tools (the 668 shortcode or cnic.sims.pk) to check SIMs registered on your own CNIC. We never ask for your CNIC number ourselves.
How fast will I hear back?
General messages usually get a reply within 24 to 48 hours during working days. Correction reports can take up to a week since they go through a review step. Privacy-related requests are handled within 14 days.
I spotted something outdated in one of your guides — how do I flag it?
Email editor@simsownersdetail.com with the page link, what looks wrong, and where the correct information comes from (a PTA notice, official operator page, etc). We check every report before updating anything.
Is there a phone line or office I can visit?
We operate purely online — no call centre, no physical office. Email and the form on this page are the only ways to reach us, which lets us give considered, accurate answers rather than rushed ones.
Am I allowed to check SIMs registered on my own CNIC?
Yes, that's completely legal and it's exactly what PTA's tools are built for. Trying to access someone else's SIM registration without their consent, however, is an offence under PECA 2016 and can carry criminal penalties.
How do I report a fake SIM-lookup website?
Send us the link at info@simsownersdetail.com and we'll look into it. For formal action, report it directly to NCCIA's cybercrime wing through complaint.nccia.gov.pk or their helpline.
